Introducing Joy, a remarkable young puppy who embarked on an extraordinary adventure. Abandoned on a desolate sidewalk, he faced an uncertain fate without the comforting presence of his mother. Fragile and vulnerable, his future seemed daunting. However, destiny had other plans. Thankfully, the compassionate volunteers at Howl Of A Dog, a dedicated non-profit organization in Romania committed to rescuing animals, discovered him and promptly brought him to their shelter.

Weighing a mere 160 grams, Joy entered the shelter, marking the official beginning of his journey. Nurturing orphaned newborn puppies is an incredibly demanding task, given their delicate nature, toothless mouths, blindness, deafness, and inability to regulate body temperature. Nevertheless, the devoted staff at the shelter left no stone unturned in providing him with the necessary care, overcoming numerous challenges to ensure his growth and well-being.

Throughout the inaugural week, Joy dedicated most of his time to rest and relied on the caretakers for nourishment. However, after three weeks had elapsed, an exultant occasion unfolded when he unveiled his wide-eyed innocence, eager to unravel the mysteries of the world. With every day that transpired, his self-assurance flourished, propelling him to actively interact with his environment and embark on thrilling escapades. When he reached the tender age of seven weeks, he attained the prowess and autonomy to procure sustenance independently, signifying a momentous milestone in his transformative odyssey toward a radiant destiny.

After four months of tireless dedication from the Howl Of A Dog team, their patience and efforts bore fruit. The heartwarming news they had long awaited finally arrived—Joy had found his forever home with a loving Dutch family who instantly fell in love with him. Ellen and Ricardo, his new parents, went above and beyond, traversing Europe to personally welcome him into their lives.
We are overjoyed to announce that Joy has found his permanent home, thanks to the support and generosity of compassionate individuals.
